Cell Phones and Privacy

Prepaid cell phones have lots of benefits and are mostly popular with teenagers. Prepaid phones are good for the people that cannot afford the monthly cell phone bill and can decide how little, or how much they want to pay depending on the data and minuets they desire. There are also no contracts with a prepaid phone, so people who loose, or break their phone may buy a prepaid cell phone to hold them over until they can afford or get the upgrade for a newer one. Prepaid cell phones may be a good option for criminals but I don't believe that everyone should be banned from a prepaid phone option just because there are some bad people in the world. An option would be putting the prepaid phone to some sort of record so it could be tracked if there is an issue, and lower crime problems.

  1. I agree with what you're saying. Especially if you lose your phone and aren't eligible for an upgrade. On top of the normal monthly phone bill, it'll cost at least $150 for an older flip phone. Sure, some people are using them for crime, but a small minority shouldn't ruin things for the entire group.

  2. I agree with the fact the prepaid phones are good for teens and a cheap alternative to a monthly cell phone bill. Criminals ruin everything and eventually they could ruin a monthly cell phone department.
